After the birth of my sons I got a ton of GD related children's material from friends/family. One of them was the book Teddy bears picnic. My 2 year old found it in his closet and loves it. It came with a cassette tape of JG and Grisman singing it. Unfortunately, my 2 year old ripped the tape out so I never got to hear it. Anyone familiar?

The book is credited to Garcia as author. Well according to Amazon. However I didn't see a version of the book with a CD.

That makes sense. Thanks. Would have been nice to hear the tune before my son ripped the tape to shreds

I recommend that entire CD though (still available)- your kid(s) would grow into it very shortly!

Love that CD, such an excellent collection of songs for young and old alike. The Shenandoah on this is one of my favorite tunes ever, just hauntingly beautiful.

No, but when he gets a little bit older, this is very cool - my 7 year old still loves it. A great cast of characters, including a good friend of mine (whose shows are on archive) as one of the leads:
